Sec. 19-34. No person shall operate a non-motorized watercraft, ,s except a sailboat, in the wake-zone of the lake when ~~ motor-powered watercraft producing a wake occupy the ~~ same half as divided by the channel of the lake... Sec. 19-35. Direction of Travel j No person shall operate a watercraft .producing a wake in a clockwise direction; the only permissible direction shall be to operate the boat in a counter-clockwise direction. ~ Sec. 19-36. Motorized Vehicles on Lake Surface Ice a. Speed .limit. No person shall-operate a motorized vehicle in excess of 30 miles per hour. b. Distance. No person vehicle in excess of one hundred fifty fe house, pederestrian, where such operation. or property. shall operate a motorized eight miles per hour within et of any fisherman,. fish skier, skater, skating rink, would endanger other persons c. No person shall operate a motorized vehicle unless headlights and taillights are illuminated. Sec. 19-37. ~ The Director of Parks and Recreation or the City. ~ Manager, upon determining .that there is probable danger to per ons or property, may close the lake surface to all. .recreational use by posting notice of such order. Sec. 19-38 Violations of the Minnesota Waters and Water- craft Safety Laws and Boat. and Water Safety Rules and Reg- f ulationsPromulgated by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources: Any person violating the Minnesota Waters and Water- craft Safety Laws and the Boat and Water Safety Rules .and .Regulations promulgated by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, adopted and incorporated herein by reference, shall be subject to the penalties and punish- ment thereafter:: provided. .Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect after its 'adoption and publication except Sec. 19.31 c and d which shall take effect upon the official opening of the Long II Lake Regional Park boat launch.
