That doesn~t necessarily mean that there will have to be large power boats coming off of this launch site. Metro., who has close associations with the Department of Natural Resources are con- tinually looking for lake access sites, access for boats. Now you can classify boats in any size, in any means of power, rowing or canoing, or some motors. But they're looking for lake access sites. Sites to get people onto the lakes, whether it's for boating, whether it's for canoing, whether it's for fishing or sailing. They do want come sort of, they're looking for those kinds of facilities and they are looking for more and they would probably hate to see one taken away because there is(?) any boat access, or existing lake access site here. And they would proba- bly hate to see one disappear when they are trying to find more in other parks in this County and other parks in the whole Metro area. It's a high priority in the schedule then. JS: Okay, with that I think we should open it to the people who are here, and if, before you speak you would identify yourself - give your name and address, the people who are keeping minutes can make sure that those comments are a part of the record and in that way we can ask the Park Board to review those, the Council can review those, and the press might even carry them, etc. and that way we can always fall back on them.
