C. ~. ital Improvement Plan - Chairperson Gun man <br />requested that members study the ,existing plan and <br />be prepared to respond at the June meeting. <br />D. Rush Lake Tree Disposals Motion by Andreotti, seconded <br />by T~~~estling that the Park Board recommends denial of <br />Ramsey Countys request to burn diseased trees at the <br />Rush Lake -Park site due to the risk of f ire and passible <br />reduction of air e~~ality. Motion carried. <br />E. 5th Street Park Plan - The board set a meeting time of <br />7°00 P.M. June 1, 1977 to present the plan to the <br />neighborhood. <br />F. Signs - Kern expressed concern for pedestrians in Vermont <br />Park area.. Motion by Kern seconded by Dahl that areas <br />where children reguiarily cross streets at park sites <br />by signed. Motion passed <br />G. Overnight Parking - Motion by Gunderman, seconded by <br />Andreotti that parking lots of parks be restricted to <br />allow no overnight parking. Motion passed. <br />H. Jaycees tree donation - Blomberg detailed a, propsal <br />whereby the Jaycees may donate trees to the city park <br />system. <br />I. Election of Officers - Motion by Dahl, seconded by Kern <br />that Arlyn Gunderman be elected Chairperson for 1977 and <br />in his absence the most senior member present would <br />preside.
