. <br />In response to questions by the Board, Edmonds explained that Galls golf <br />course has not yet been purchased by the County nor has any agreement been <br />reached with White Bear Lake. I~legotiations are still going on. Concerning <br />ice arenas it was noted that three are planned for St. Paul and one for White <br />Bear Lake in 1973. <br />The Board was informed that the County would be presenting a firm proposal <br />for Countil approval on the hiller-Rush Lake property in late April. <br />PARR PLAN DISCUSSIOIJ <br />Def?erred until full membership was present. <br />DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />The Department suggested that the entire skating program be reviewed at a <br />future meeting. The Board concurred and asked that the staff place it on <br />the agenda when appropriate. <br />The Board was informed that the Spring Program Brochures would be in the mail <br />the next day, <br />The Board requested that the Department have available at the next meeting an <br />analysis of the Rush Lake area including zonings and tax values. <br />it was requested that the Rush Lake area be considered in the Lark Plan dis- <br />cussion. <br />Other items for future discussion; <br />1. Approach St, Anthony School District on the <br />possibility of developing a skating area at <br />Silver Oak School. <br />2.
