Gunderman requested that the proposal <br />for development be sent to the members absent and that the information <br />be kept ;under consideration until the March meeting.. <br />TdAMIT1G Or THE LO~1G LAICE SITE <br />It was decided to defer this matter to the T~4arch meeting when the full <br />Board was present. <br />DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />1. The Board was informed that the Spring Recreation Program Brochure <br />was being compiled. New activities to be included are golf, <br />girls dance classes, and a tennis club. <br />The Board suggested other programs for future consideration <br />including girls athletics and a mini-basketball league. <br />2. The Board requested the following information: <br />a. The feasibility of isolating the free skating pond <br />in the winter from the flow pattern. <br />b. The use of Irondale and Highview hockey rinks in the <br />winter on weekends. <br />c. Study of the hockey program to determine at what point <br />it might be feasible for i+iew Brighton to go it on its own. <br />d. Request for County representatives to attend the next <br />meeting to review the progress of the County's Open <br />Space plan. <br />e.
