•
proposed Village recreation programs in comparison to the school
district program be available at .the April meeting.
3
Hansen Park Road
Gunderman questioned the status of the road through Hansen Park stating
that if, in fact, it was to be closed the procedure used was unsightly
and ineffective. It was explained that the road had some rough areas
due to the thaw and that as a notice to motorists signs and barricades
were installed. The barricades were not placed to completely prevent
passage as it was felt that the police should have access to provide
protection against vandalism in the park. The sign used was one of
the Village's stock supply. Gunderman indicated that he was dis-
satisfied and that the road should either be open or closed and if
closed, that it be done in a more effective and less unsightly manner.
Dahl also noted that the "Danger. - Thin Ice" signs were not very
effective as they had been up all during the skating season. As had
been previously noted, this was an oversight on the part of the
Department.
Requests for Materials
Gund erman requested that materials on this year's budget and on the
North Suburban Day Activity Center be available at she April meeting.
Meeting adjourned 9x49
Submitted by,
Robert M.
