ROGER A. PAIILSON
1038 Robin Lane
New Brighton, Minnesota 55112
March 1~+, 1970
Mr. Richard Hansen
Vice Chairman
New Brighton Park Brd.
New Brighton, Minn
Dear Mr. Hansen:
Please convey to the Park Board the fallowing:
I have to date concurred with virtually ever move
you have made. You are to be congratulated for
your goals and long range planning. The fruit of
your labors is already beginning to take shape and
be en3oyed by the village residents.
To taint this magnificent record by giving serious
consideration to the trap range proposal would, in
my opinion, be unthinkable.
T did not vote yes on the park bond issue thinking
my tax dollars would be used to serve a special
interest group such as this;
I did vote yes on the park bond issue thinking of
trees anal green grass with people free to go where
they wished and not be disturbed by gun shots;
In summary, I cannot think of a worse use for land
you fought so hard for and land we all are paying
for than a trap and skeet range.
Please know the views presented above are strictly
my own and do not reflect the views of any organiza-
tions to which I belong,
Sincerely,
Roger A. Paulson
