Several comments
were made:
1. The time of year is wrong for this type of contest
2. Appearance of the developed sites were poor and therefore
contest may not be advisable at this time.
3. The longer this is delayed, the more implanted become the
present design.
4. It is necessary to generate positive public opinion regarding the
parks and probably more necessary now so as to offset some of
the negative reactions regarding the parks.
Chairman Morris will attempt to arrange a meeting with the various groups
who express interest in the program to outline the plan.
Motion by Hanson, seconded by Weissman to adjourn the meeting at 10:27 p.m.
Carried
