Provide a strong sense of community spirit through the con- <br />timed commitment and involvement of citizens, businesses, <br />and city governments. <br />V. Promote a strong positive image of New Brighton as the <br />preferred place to live, work, and do business. <br />OBJECTIVES <br />I. Provide high quality and efficiently managed services and <br />facilities for businesses and residents: <br />A. Maintain high professional standards. <br />B. Develop career development ,plan for each employee, manager <br />and department heads, professional and supervisory staff <br />(01/01/85). <br />C. Review friendly reception policy with all employees. High <br />priority of City Council. <br />D. .Develop performance monitoring system, minimum annually <br />(City Manager, in place by 01/01/85). <br />E. Measure. need and effectiveness of city services.. <br />
