District 6.21 and District 282 school related functions. <br />3. Other New Brighton Community Croups to include other <br />governmental :agencies, civic organizations, political groups,. <br />churches,. athletic associations, fraternal groups, charitable <br />groups, and character building organizations devoted to <br />recreational, social,. civic and/or educational development. <br />4. All other authorized groups to include non-resident, <br />commercial and private membership groups. <br />Definitions <br />1. Community groups/organizations (#3 priority) <br />Groups able to show evidence that 75~~f the user groups <br />lives or works within the city units of New Brighton. <br />2. Non-resident groups/organizations (.#4 priority) <br />Groups unable to .meet the criteria established as a resident <br />group. <br />3. Commercial groups (:#4 priority) <br />Groups which operate for profit or the purpose of advertisement <br />and are not tax exempt. <br />4. Private groups (#4 priority) <br />Community gatherings which are closed to the general public. <br />5. Fund raisers (#4 priority) <br />Activities which are fee oriented. <br />Classification of Fees <br />A. Usage Fees: are collected. for administration, utilities, <br />limited maintenance, operation of facilities <br />and. attached equipment and is based on a <br />minimum of 1.5 hours.. <br />1. Certain civic oro~g,,~~izations which offer benefits to <br />the communityt~fr"~5m~ fees. <br />2. Standard fees will be charged to resident tax exempt <br />groups which are operating for profit or for fund raising. <br />at rate of $12 maximum per hour; maximum $48 per day, $192/wk~ <br />3. Commercial Fee: will be charged to any other approved <br />user .groups which do not fit under 1 and 2 and includes <br />any activity where admission is charged, .materials <br />or merchandise are sold or exhibited for the purpose <br />of making a profit or for advertisement at .rate of <br />$25.00/hour to a maximum of $100.00 per day, $400.00/wk. <br />B. Service Fees are collected for the following: <br />1. If-the Director of Parks & Recreation deems it necessary <br />for additional supervision, the group would have to <br />pay the. direct costs of $4-5/hour. <br />2. If the activity requires any additional maintenance <br />scheduled the user group would be charged accordingly. <br />
