Rose, Van Hatten, Council Rep. Janecek Members absent: Carlson, Gunderman, Solberg III. Minutes of April 23,.1984 were approved as submitted, IV. Correspondence A. Council Report Janecek said the Centex Development only wanted to do the. development if .they could have 565 units. It would be that or nothing. Gordie Hedlund's request for Hansen Park .property purchase was denied. The development agreement on 10th Street project was signed. On~'the north would be restaurant and commercial developments and on the south side residential development. An exclusive development for a seniors home is being discussed for 10th Street. The developer will do a .feasibility study and come back to the Council in-about 90 days with the results.. B. Long Lake Advisory Committee Dahl said they did not meet, they will be meeting in June, Anderson said. there is one application for Mark Anderson's position. V. New Business A. Discussion-Items 1984 CIP Progress Still working. on Hansen from last year. Just about have the play equipment in at Hansen. In '84 have the Pike Lake trail to go in and lighting at Hansen should go in. 1985 Budget Concerns Anderson said the budget hasn't changed much in the last few years: with the exception of the addition in the seniors area. Mayk~e starting a new club. Kelly Schultz is working on it now. Loyal Rose commented that Kelly is doing a beautiful job. Anderson said if the Park Board sees something we need to do or not do - we are open to suggestions. Dahl requests organization of a male/female singing group, Anderson said we could add a note in broghure and ask for a response
