Utility installation <br />should resume during March and site grading after May lst. <br />E. <br />Petrel eum Products _Re~os i tory_ <br />Specifications have been complete and the Public Works Committee <br />and County Board will be requested at their February 11 meetings <br />to authorize the Department to request the Metro Council to amend <br />the Rush Lake-Long Lake Acquisition Grant contract for the purpose <br />of funding the removal and disposal of the petroleum sludge <br />deposit. The Executive Di rector .has authorized the Department <br />to seek bids for the removal and disposal of the subject material. <br />After a meeting between the Executive Director, P.C.A, repre- <br />sentatives, City of New Brighton staff and staff from different <br />County departments it was determined that local disposal options <br />would be investigated and specifications would be made available. <br />F; <br />Historical Soo Line Depot (New Brighton Area Wistorical Society) <br />The Long Lake Regional Park Advisory Board at its meeting on <br />January 16th took action endorsing the concept of the 50o Line <br />Historic Depot being raved to Long Lake Park. <br />The Historical Society's Board of Directors has approved the <br />relocation of the subject depot to Long Lake Park subject to <br />the negotiation of an acceptable premises lease agreement. <br />Staff is currently preparing a master plan amendment which <br />proposes that the subject depot be sited within the park. It <br />is anticipated. that the Master Plan amendment will be submitted <br />to New Brighton City Council (including Park Board) and <br />County Board in March. <br />G.
