Beach Refectory Building <br />Since the last reporting date the interior redwood ceilings <br />(change rooms, guard rooms, concessions and rental area) and <br />plaster ceilings (toilets) have been completed, block walls <br />and metal doors and trim have ,been painted with finish coat, <br />seamless flooring (change rooms, guard roor~) and. vinyl the <br />(concession, rental and office areas) have been installed, <br />light fixtures have been mounted and toilet doors have been <br />hung. The quarry the in the toilets, vestibule and lobby <br />will be installed during the first week of July, Generally, <br />the building should be completed by the middle of July. <br />B. Site Development <br />The parking lots and entrance road have received the binder <br />ctaurse (first lift) of bituminous pavement. The wearing <br />course will be postponed until all major site construction <br />has been completed so that an accounting can be made as to <br />the remaining funds available for the final paving. If <br />contract funds are inadequate to complete all paving, the <br />wearing course for 1 or 2 of the parking lots (day camp and/or inter- <br />pretive area) will be deleted from the contract and sub- <br />sequently reinstated in phase II construction. <br />All exposed soil has been covered by a disc anchored straw <br />mulch. Coarse sand was spread over the shoreward side of the <br />designated swimming beach. (A blanket of sand will be placed <br />on the frozen lake surface in the desianated iakeward swimming <br />area). <br />
