The concrete sidewalk surrounding the beach refectory building <br />will be installed during the first part of July. It is anti- <br />cipated that the turf portion of the swimming beach area will <br />be seeded during the middle of July provided water for irrigation <br />will be available from the building. <br />Approximately 15,000 cubic yards of "free fill" is being <br />delivered to the site by Shafer Contracting Company and is <br />being placed in areas where soil deficits exist (e.g, excavated <br />stud a pit, railraod landfill, vacated sewer trench and screening <br />berm. <br />C. Petroleum Products Repository <br />The petroleum residue (approximately 950 cubic yards) has been <br />excavated and removed from the site (transported to a landfill <br />in Illinois) and a final inspection by staff of the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency has determined that the site is now <br />"clean". <br />D. Historical Soo Line Depot (New Brighton Area Historical Society) <br />A legal description has been prepared for the designated parcel <br />and the issues raised by the Society have been mitigated. The' <br />final form of the agreement will be prepared by the County Attorney's <br />Office during the first half of July. The subject premises <br />lease agreement will be included as part of the proposed Master <br />Plan Amendments. <br />E. Regional Park Master Plan Amendments <br />Status Qua - refer to previous report. (Waiting far completion <br />of Premises Lease Agreement for Historic Depot and incorporation <br />in Amendments prior to submission to Public Works Committee and <br />County Board). <br />II. BALD EAGLE--OTTER LAKE REGIONAL PARK <br />Development. and approval of Master Plan. <br />Status Quo - refer to previous reports. <br />III.
