The concrete sidewalk surrounding the beach refectory building will be installed during the first part of July. It is anti- cipated that the turf portion of the swimming beach area will be seeded during the middle of July provided water for irrigation will be available from the building. Approximately 15,000 cubic yards of "free fill" is being delivered to the site by Shafer Contracting Company and is being placed in areas where soil deficits exist (e.g, excavated stud a pit, railraod landfill, vacated sewer trench and screening berm. C. Petroleum Products Repository The petroleum residue (approximately 950 cubic yards) has been excavated and removed from the site (transported to a landfill in Illinois) and a final inspection by staff of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has determined that the site is now "clean". D. Historical Soo Line Depot (New Brighton Area Historical Society) A legal description has been prepared for the designated parcel and the issues raised by the Society have been mitigated. The' final form of the agreement will be prepared by the County Attorney's Office during the first half of July.
