The launching ramp alsa will
pravide access to the frozen lake surface during winter
months for snowmabilers and ice fishermen.
Long Lake - South and East Segments
Shoreline Fishing. Piers (refer to attached revised development
concept map and concept details).
Eight 'T'-Shaped handrail enclosed fishing piers will extend
approximately 50 - 75 feet lakeward from the shoreline at
locations immediately west and east of the boat launch and
along the southeast shore of the lake. The designated sections
of shoreline are currently frequented by shoreline fishermen.
The piers will be accessible to disabled people and will
provide optimum space for approximately 80 people.
Sixteen curbside parallel parking spaces will be provided
for shoreline fishermen along the northside of the existing
entrance road.
r
-3-
