Review of Citizen Survey <br />Van Hatten said satisfaction is high. <br />Anderson said it should be noted that the survey is not <br />statistically valid. <br />VI. Old Business <br />None <br />VII. Announcements <br />A. Mounds View Park Tour <br />Mounds View is planning another combined .Park Board meeting <br />between the cities. It will be a tour of Central Park in <br />Roseville. Hansen Park may be included in the tour to look <br />at the entrance and play equipment. A Shoreview park may also <br />be looked at. The tour will probably be on a Saturday morning. <br />Johnson said he would like New Brighton to have a good response <br />and keep these meetings going. <br />B. Anderson said the Park Board. Members should have received a <br />notice of a workshop from MRPA. It is for Park members across <br />the state on Aprl 15. It would be nice if someone would go. <br />It is 5:30-9:OOpm. The City will pick up the tab. It is at <br />Highland Park Reserve. Need to know by April 11. <br />Anderson asked the Park Board if <br />for the residents in .the Veterans <br />posal. Will send a flyer out. <br />there should be a special meeting <br />Park area to see the park pro- <br />Johnson suggested holding the resident meeting before the regular <br />May Park Board meeting and hold the meeting at City Hall. <br />Blomquist asked if the concept plan would be available before <br />the next meeting. <br />Anderson said yes. <br />THE MEETING WAS SET FOR MAY 7TH, VETERANS PARK DISCUSSION FROM <br />6:30.-8:OOPM AND THE REGULAR MAY PARK BOARD MEETING HELD AT 8:OOPM. <br />THE MEETINGS WILL BE HELD AT CITY HALL. <br />Anderson wanted to know how the Council feels about certain <br />aspects of the plan. He asked Williams if the plan should be <br />taken to the Council meeting for their reaction. <br />Williams suggested that Anderson make a short presentation about <br />the 3 options and let the Council react. <br />Anderson said $175,000 would be for the shelter building itself. <br />Approx. $100,000 for the earth work. Total of about $300,000. <br />Williams thought it would be helpful to give the different phases. <br />Williams thought the earthwork estimate may be low. <br />Anderson said if we can get free fill it .should be close. <br />MOTION BY VAN HATTEN, SECONDED BY ROSE, TO ADJOURN THE MEETING <br />AT 10:00PM. <br />
