BEACH AND FOOD SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />• BETWEEN RAMSEY COUNTY AND THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />This Agreement made this day of , 1986, <br />by and. between the City of New Brighton (hereinafter referred to <br />as the "City") and Ramsey County (hereinafter referred to as the <br />"County"), both bodies corporate and politic. and political <br />subdivisions of the State of Minnesota; <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City and the County have entered into a joint <br />powers agreement dated August 11, 1981,: as amended, entitled <br />"Joint Powers Agreement Relating to Maintenance and Operation of <br />Long Lake/Rush Lake Regional Park", pursuant to Minnesota Stat- <br />utes Section 471.59; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend and supplement said <br />joint powers agreement as hereinafter provided; <br />NOW THEREFORE, on the basis of the premises and the mutual <br />covenants -and agreements hereinafter provided, the parties <br />.hereto agree as follows: <br />Section 1. Exclusive Right. <br />1.01. The County hereby grants to the City the exclusive <br />right to operate and maintain the Long Lake Regional Park beach <br />building and beach area, together with adjacent parking areas <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Premises"). The Premises is the <br />area shown by outline in red on the plan attached hereto as <br />Exhibit One, which is hereby made a part hereof. The County <br />further grants the City the exclusive right and license to sell <br />• and dispense food, candy, and non-alcoholic beverages on the <br />
