Anderson, Director of Parks and Recreation <br />Long Lake Park Joint Powers Agreement <br />z <br />0 <br /> <br />_ The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners has requested a <br />~ change in the Joint Powers Agreement between the city and <br />m county regarding the Long Lake Advisory Committee. The <br />~ present structure calls fora 7 member committee; four <br />z members to be appointed by Ramsey. County,. three .members <br /> appointed by the city. The county has more applicants. <br />~ <br />Q than it has had vacancies and therefore would like to <br />~ increase the size of the committee. Ramsey County would <br />w like to increase. the committee size to 9 members; 5 county <br /> appointments and 4 city. The .change to be effective <br />J January 1, 1987., <br /> <br />w The. present agreement includes a requirement that one <br />~ committee member be drawn from the park service area <br />~n outside of Ramsey County.
