JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />• RELATING TO <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF THE <br />LONG LAKE REGIONAL. PARK VOLUNTEER ADVISORY BOARD <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made this day of ,.198_, <br />between the County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota (COUNTY) and City of New <br />Brighton, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota (CITY). This agreement is <br />entered into pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 471.59 (1980). <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has been designated as the Implementing Agency by <br />the Metro{,ulitan Council, and <br />WtiEREAS, the City of New Brighton has the authority to review and approve <br />all acquisition and development plans for County parks within its boundaries, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Board. of Ramsey County Commissioners has adopted a Long_Lake <br />• Regional Park Master Plan, and the New Brighton City Council has concurrently <br />approved said master plan, and <br />~WWEREAS, the Master Plan specifies the establishment of a volunteer park <br />advisory board, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brj~ghton and Ramsey County have entered into other <br />joint powers agreements relative to the planning, maintenance and operation of <br />Long Lake Regional .Park, <br />The County and City hereby enter into this agreement regarding the establish <br />ment of a volunteer advisory board to make recommendations to the Board of Rams. <br />County Commissioners and New Brighton City Council, both of which have mutual <br />interest in the development, maintenance and operation of Long Lake Regional Pa <br />and hereby agree as follows: <br />• <br />~ j <br /> <br />
