Vets Meeting (Continued) Page 6 <br /> <br />Resident - Why doesn't the city cut back on the parking to <br />enlarge the park. • <br />Johnson - must have a certain number of parking areas - the proposed <br />plan is the minimum. <br />Resident - Closing 3rd Ave. is taking parking spots away from St. John's <br />Midness - No, we have not taken any away. <br />Resident - You are saying it is not a problem with parking to close <br />3rd Ave. <br />Van Hatten - you are loosing about 8 spots but you can gain those back. <br />Johnson - All kinds of things can be done. <br />Midness - Les Proper said this is the most practical way. <br />Resident - You have to decide .where you will put the snow. <br />Midness - Where does the snow go now.. <br />Resident - Along 8th & 9th <br />Resident - The traffic flow is good now. <br />Resident - What .did you gather from us? <br /> <br />Van Hatten - You want a ball field and you want to keep the 3rd Ave. <br />open <br />Resident(St. John's) - The school is very happy for an upgrade.. <br />We just don't want to lose anything. <br />Midness - If anything you will be gaining. <br />Resident - Can see the need for the pond. <br />Resident - The skating is good. <br />Resident - Asked about the spring or fountain in one of the plans. <br />Midness - The idea is to move the water around to keep it from <br />getting stagnant. <br />Johnson - Is there a concensus.-for the pond? <br />Resident - Yes if we have to. <br />Resident(St. John's) -Would like to see a small pond rather than <br />a soggy area. Prefer small pond rather than big. <br />Resident - How much will you spend? <br />Johnson - Don't know, this would be the maximum potential. <br />
