ARTICLES <br />NEW ARIGHTON CONDUCTING <br />CITY-WIDE CITIZEN SURVEY <br />The City of New Brighton is in the process of surveying its <br />residents to obtain their opinions regarding the services they <br />.receive and to determine characteristics of the City's residents <br />(age, sex, number of persons in the household, and the location <br />of the respondent's neighborhood). <br />This information will be used in the City Council's Team Building <br />workshop in January to identify needs and determine how best to <br />meet these needs. Because Team Building is an annual workshop: <br />when the City Council sets goals for the City with the help of <br />amity Staff, it is important that as much information as possible <br />is received from the residents. <br />;he survey is located in the center of the i4inter edition of the <br />"amity Hall `yews and Recreation Program Information" brochure which <br />will be delivered to all New 3righton residents within the next <br />several days. Residents are asked to complete the stamped, self- <br />addressed form.and mail it no later than December 15, 1985. <br />If more than one household member wishes to respond, call (6:33- <br />1533) or stop by City Hall for additional copies.. Berger, Administrative <br />Assistant. <br />f NEW BRI6NTON RESIDENTS ENCOURAGED TO <br />COMPLETE CITIZEN SURVEY BEYOND DECEMBER 15TH DEADLINE <br />The City of New Brighton is beginning the process of compiling the <br />results from its 1985 Citizen Survey. The survey was recently sent. <br />out in the Winter edition of the "City Hall News and Recreation <br />Program Information" brochure. Citizens .were asked to have mailed <br />their survey no later than December 15th but it is swill not too <br />late to send yours in if you have not. tiny ate arriving surveys <br />wi simply be added into the final results. Surveys will be <br />accepted through January. <br />The information from the survey will be used in the City Council's <br />Team Building workshop the end of January to identify needs and <br />determine how best to meet these needs. The City Council, with the <br />help of city staff, uses the annual Team Building workshop to set <br />goals for the City. Because it is important that as muchthe e;ty ~s <br />information as possible is received from City residents, <br />encouraging all residents to send in their survey beyond the <br />December 15th deadline. <br />The survey is located in the center of the brochure. If you have <br />discarded your brochure or did not receive one, call 633-1533 or <br />stop by City Hall for additional surveys. The survey is stamped and <br />self-addressed so that City residents can complete it and drop it in <br />the mail. <br />- 4 - <br />
