June 1, 1994 New Brighton Park Board Minutes <br />2 <br />It was also discussed whether the City should have its own officer to <br />attend events where liquor is present. The Pazk Board felt it would be <br />nicer to have its own city staff person as opposed to each group hiring <br />their own officer.. Sometimes groups have a family member who is an <br />officer. It may be more effective to have a city officer. Anderson said <br />he will discuss it with the Police Chief. <br />Discussion also centered around whether community organizations will <br />need to pay for use of facilities. It was decided that they could reserve <br />facilities if it were non-peak hours, such as day time hours. <br />V. New Business <br />A. Family Service Center, Review Committee Action <br />See above discussion <br />B. 1995-99 CIP <br />Anderson had distributed a CIP list. <br />Two items in 1995 for the Family Service Center,. totalling $80,000, <br />were removed from the CIP and put in the Family Service Center <br />budget. In 1995 the word "Hansen" was added to Pazk/Playground <br />Accessibility and the amount changed from $10,000. to $15,000 and In- <br />line Hockey Boazds were added in the amount of $10,000. Total for <br />1995 is $75,000. <br />In 1996 the Pazk/Playground accessibility was changed from $10,000 to <br />$15,000. Total for 1996 is $85,000. <br />In 1997 no changes were made. Total for 1997 is $75,000. <br />In 1998 no changes were made. Total for 1998 is $105,000. <br />In 1999 no changes were made. Total for 1999 is $85,000. <br />Total for the 5 year CIP is $425,000. <br />MOTION BY KENZIE, SECONDED BY CARLSON, TO APPROVE <br />THE 1995-1999 CIP AS STATED ABOVE. MOTION CARRIED. <br />
