DRAFT Family Center Mission Statement Mission of the New Brighton Family Center is to provide a gathering place to enhance New Brighton's strong sense of community and to provide quality leisure and wellness opportunities with particular emphasis on family and intergenerational activities. Recreational, cultural and wellness grograms will be provided through the combined efforts of the City of New Brighton, #621 School District, Northwest Youth and Family Services and other community organizations. ri hton Famil Service Center New B g y Draft 2 June 2, 1994 The Family Service Center is intended to accommodate the public as much as possible in making it convenient to participate in activities. The hours aze justified by what similar facilities have found to be the best situatign from a convenience and economic standpoint. The hours listed aze times that th~ building will be open to the public. All exterior doors will be locked except during the times listed below. In the event of meetings, banquets, weddings, special events etc., the building will be available until 12:OOam. All events will be encouraged to be completed and the buildin Pty of patrons after 12:OOam. A overnight rental(lockin) may be scheduled between the hours ~ ~ -6am• HOURS OF OPERATION / ~ ~ .~~-,~~ BUII.DING HOURS Monday-Friday Gam-lOpm Saturday Sam-1(}pm Sunday Sam-6pm Friday and Saturday hours may be extended for additional activities. Late Night Youth activities can be planned for these nights. HOLIDAYS New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas hours will be Sam-Spm. All other holidays will have normal operating hours. PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT BUSINESS HOURS Monday-Friday Sam-Spm The above schedule is intended to provide sufficient hours to the public for program registration, distribution of information, and phone answering.
