MEMO <br />December 29, 1993 <br />To: Maurie Anderson <br />From: Pat Tuma <br />Re: Little Lakes Little League Alternate Field Development Proposal <br />David Bernlohr from the fields and scheduling committee of Little Lakes Little League <br />(CELL) has proposed developing Totem Pole Park for little league play. LLLL <br />would like to provide funding for dugout fencing ;approximate cost $1,600. They are <br />asking the City to provide benches on both the 1st and 3rd base lines and a hood for <br />the backstop; approximate cost $1,500. <br />Listed below is the 1993 field use schedule for Totem Pole <br />Organization Dates Used Day Time <br />St. John's School Apri15 -May 21 Tues/'Thurs 4:00-6:OOpm <br />NB Parks & Rec June 21-July 28 Mon/Wed 5:30-8:30pm <br />The New Brighton Parks and Recreation Department used Totem Pole for games for <br />Kindergarten T-Ball, 1st Grade T-Ball and 2nd Grade Coaches Pitch. There were <br />three Totem Pole teams, one from each age group. <br />St. John's School used the field for practice and games for their 5th & 6th grade boys. <br />Totem Pole was used for practice heavily in the early summer June 1-21, tapering off <br />as the season went on. <br />
