Right now we do about 51,700 on a good day. <br />Helgeson stated that after July 4 the numbers usually drop. <br />Anderson said there may be competition on 1995. Mounds View and <br />Shoreview may have driving ranges. <br />Helgeson stated that he and a partner are doing a project in Eagan. <br />Anderson asked the Park Board what they thought of Tom°s <br />suggestion for a rollerbading area. <br />Anderson felt Freedom Park was a good choice because it has stable <br />soil and lights. <br />Olson asked about funding. <br />Anderson thought about $15,000. <br />Helgeson asked how many rounds of golf are put through in a season. <br />Anderson responded 41,000. We are meeting all expenses. We wiN <br />be done paying the County in three years. <br />Carlson suggested putting the rollerblading in the CIP for 1995 <br />because it was the year with the lowest budget. It would also give us <br />a couple years to see if rollerblading is just a fad. <br />Helgeson suggested calling the Irondale Hockey people. <br />Anderson said good idea, they could front end the project. <br />Oce! asked if there are ways to get certain items funded. <br />Anderson stated we have received money from the Legion, Chamber <br />of Commerce and the Eagles for our adaptive recreation and day camp <br />programs. We have not asked for major CIP money. <br />Olson asked about putting a bench in along the Pike Lake Trail. <br />Anderson said we may want to do that. <br />MOTION BY CARLSON, SECONDED BY TREVORROW TO ADOPT THE <br />CIP WITH THE ADD1TlON OF ROLLERBLADING INCLUDED IN 1995. <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />
