March 3, 1993 Park Board Minutes
B. Consider Revised Park Boundaries for Innsbruck 5th Addition
Anderson showed the Park Board a map with the previous park
.boundaries and the proposed new boundaries. Anderson commented
that it is a good proposal. There will be an access to the south and
the parking lot will be on the northeast side which is a better location
than the previous plan.
Ocel asked if the land was good.
Anderson responded it was.
Marty Harstad stated that the City requires 10°k park dedication and
this new proposal gives 22% toward park dedication. The
development will be duplexes selling in the 5150,000-$160,000
range. All the yards will be maintained by an association.
Olson asked what the acreage was.
Harstad stated it was about 3/4 of an acre of additional. land. Total
dedicated land is about an acre and a half.
2
Harstad noted that this extra land will help get a bigger soccer field in
there.
Williams noticed that there is quite a slope on the property.
Harstad said there are trees on the site, and there is a hole. It could
be leveled for you if you would like.
Anderson asked that he and the City Engineer be allowed to review
the grading plan.
MOTION BY OCEL, SECONDED BY TREVORROW, TO APPROVE THE
PLAN BASED ON THE FACT THAT THE LAND IS USABLE AND THAT
THE PARK AND RECREATION DIRECTOR APPROVE THE GRADING
PLAN. MOTION CARRIED.
MOTION BY HELGESON, SECONDED BY OCEL, THAT THE PARK
BOARD ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HARSTAD HAS 12,000 SQUARE
FEET OF LAND DEDICATION CREDIT TO BE GIVEN THE NEXT TIME
HARSTAD COMES IN FOR PLAT APPROVAL.
