Councilm mb Isom introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptions <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COtgiEENDING <br />STEWART HOME SCHOOL <br />WHEREAS, the City of Champlin is responsible for the overall <br />maintenance of the Champlin Park System, and <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission and City Council are <br />dedicated to the task of administering the most cost efficient saintenance <br />operation possible, and <br />WHEREAS, the Adopt-A-Park program provides an opportunity for community <br />organizations to become involved in a commitment to their City park system. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Champlin zecognizes the extraordinary efforts <br />requfred from the community organizations, and the potential economic savings to <br />the City, based on these efforts. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE ZT RESOLVED by the City Council of Champlin, that <br />the following members of Stewart Home School: Neil Stewart, 2iichelle Stewart, <br />Regan Stewart, Kiernan Stewart, Sam Stewart and Joe Stewart should be recognized <br />for their commitment to clean-up Paul Wethern Park as part of the Champlin Adopt- <br />A-Park'Program. <br />The motion for the adoption o~ the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember dick, and upon being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Mayor Haas, Councilmembers Boynton, Zsom, Rick, and Simpkins, <br />and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was <br />passed this 12th day of August, 1991. <br />ATTESTS <br />Wm.
