NEW BRIGHTON PARK BOARD <br />MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 4, 1991 <br />I. Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order by Chair Johnson at 7:30pm <br />II. Members present: Eichers, Johnson, Kinzie, Ocel, Olson, <br />Rose, Seward, Council Rep. Gunderman <br />Kalina arrived about 8:20pm <br />Residents present: Don Stevenson, 275 14th Ave. NW; Frank McCabe, 1648 Sioux <br />Blvd.; Ed and Jackie Mullaney, 593 17th Ave. NW <br />Member absent: Carlson <br />III. Minutes of June 5, 1991 <br />MOTION BY OLSON, SECONDED BY SEWARD, TO APPROVE THE <br />JUNE 5, 1991 MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED. <br />IV. Correspondence <br />A. Long Lake Advisory Committee <br />No meeting was held. <br />B. Council Report <br />Gunderman stated that most of agenda items related to budget items. The City <br />trying to keep the same or improved services with the same budget. Some <br />budget cuts aze being made. Levied a 9 % increase. We aze doing some <br />shazed activities such as sharing maintenance people and projects with other <br />cities. The Council is doing some long range planning. <br />Gunderman said the Old Hwy. 8 corridor plan was reviewed and approved. <br />Olson inquired about when the City would start recycling plastics. <br />Gunderman said very soon. <br />
