June 5, 1991 Park Board Minutes <br />Anderson said it operates as a business. <br />Our payment to Ramsey County for the purchase is about <br />$35,000 per year. We net about $8,000-$10,000,per year <br />after redoing parking lot and general maintenance of the <br />course. It is a really good operation. <br />Ocel asked about the water problem on the course. <br />Anderson said the course is in a low area and with all <br />the rain there has been some problems. <br />Anderson said the aeration for the pond and swings at <br />Veterans were scheduled for 1992. <br />Creekview 1994 <br />Driftwood Equipment/Trail 1992 <br />Handicapped 1994 <br />Pond/swings Vets 1992 <br />Olson asked if the aeration was more for <br />decorative purposes. <br />Carlson said it also helps with water stagnation. <br />Carlson suggested putting in swings for seniors too - <br />like a porch swing. <br />Anderson said he would like to have the maintenance crew <br />build one. <br />MOTION BY OLSON, SECONDED BY CARLSON, TO ACCEPT THE <br />PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE CIP.
