NEW BRIGHTON PARK BOARD <br />MINUTES <br />MAY 1, 1991 <br />I. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by chair Johnson. <br />II. Members present: Carlson, Eichers, Johnson, Kalina, <br />Kinzie, Rose, Council Rep. Gunderman <br />Also present: Tom Treverrow & Dale Merriman of the <br />Soccer Assn. and Jerry Flodine, <br />Keith and Forrest Harstad of the <br />Innsbruck North development area <br />Members absent: Ocel, Olson, Seward <br />III. MOTION BY ROSE, SECONDED BY CARLSON, TO APPROVE THE <br />APRIL 3, 1991 MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED. <br />IV. Correspondence <br />A. Long Lake Advisory Committee <br />No meeting was held. <br />B. Council Report <br />Gunderman stated there had been a volunteer <br />appreciation function last night. Taxes, liquor <br />store, Nixon property have all been discussed recently. <br />Have met with St. Anthony regarding the Silver Lake <br />Road project. <br />V. New Business <br />A. Plat Review Innsbruck North, 5th Addition <br />Jerry Flodine of Harstad gave a presentation of <br />their proposal. <br />He stated the southern area would have 8-10 <br />plexes. The boundaries of the development are the <br />same as proposed about 2 years ago. A baseball <br />and soccer field previously proposed now has been <br />changed to just a soccer field with parking area. <br />One pond is being eliminated and the other <br />increased in size. People could walk along the <br />pond and in back of the houses. <br />The Treverrow and Merriman asked the size of the <br />soccer field. <br />Flodine responded about 160' x 300'. <br />Treverrow and Merriman said that is about full <br />size. <br />
