• This is Exhibit A to Amendment Number 1, dated March 14, 2007 Scope of Services This Amendment Number 1 includes the following services: Task 1 -Highway Realignment/West Side Developer Coordination Early on in the final design process, the City requested that we prepare several exhibits (plan- view layouts and cross sections) and assist in coordination with the developers on the west side of Old Highway 8. This coordination resulted in the need to adjust the alignment of Old Highway 8 to accommodate setbacks as required by the developer. We revised the alignment accordingly and made the necessary revisions to proceed with the final design. Task 2 -Property Acquisition Exhibits As requested by City staff, we have prepared several exhibits to assist the City in property acquisition negotiations adjacent to Old Highway 8 within the project limits. We have prepared the fallowing property exhibits: • 1. Ferrell Gas showing Old Highway 8 impacts with and without sidewalk construction 2. Railroad Exhibit 3. AAA Cooper showing pond construction (3 options) 4. Post Office showing Old Highway 8 impacts with and without sidewalk construction 5. Crass section of roadway improvements in front of Post Office 6. Post Office temporary access (2 options) 7. Billboard south of Post Office Task 3 -Environmental Contamination Coordination We have coordinated with Barr Engineering regarding remediation of environmental contamination anticipated to be encountered during construction of improvements associated with Old Highway 8 reconstruction, particularly at the north pond. We have performed or are in the process of performing the following tasks: • Prepare exhibits showing roadway and pond improvements associated with construction of Old Highway 8 for inclusion in the Development Response Action Plan (DRAF) to be prepared by Barr Engineering for submittal to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. • Review DRAP as it relates to reconstruction of Old Highway 8 and associated improvements. • Coordinate pay items associated with environmental remediation. . • Coordinate environmental remediation cost estimates.
