<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 11, 1986 <br /> <br />Public Hearings <br /> <br />Krueger had nothing to add to the staff report concerning a <br />request for a minor subdivision and recommended the public <br />hearing be continued. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Gunderman, to CONTINUE THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THE SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN NEW BRIGHTON <br />UNTIL FEBRUARY 25, 1986. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Sinda had nothing to add to the staff report concerning an <br />ordinance amendment that would establish zoning and platting <br />fees by council resolution. <br /> <br />As there were no questions or comments, Schmidt moved, seconded <br />by Gunderman, to CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Brandt, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />HOLD THE FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS WHICH WOULD ES- <br />TABLISH ZONING AND PLATTING FEES BY CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Kelley stated the Tri-City American Legion Post had paid all fees <br />and submitted proof of insurance coverage. <br /> <br />As there were no questions or comments, Williams moved, seconded <br />by Schmidt to CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Williams, to AUTHORIZE THE CITY'S <br />ISSUANCE OF A SUNDAY SALES INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE <br />TRI-CITY AMERICAN LEGION POST PENDING PAYMENT OF ALL FEES AND <br />PROOF OF INSURANCE COVERAGE. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />John Hearn, the Legion's Post Commander, presented Mayor Benke <br />with two United States flags, one for City Hall and one for the <br />Fire Station. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Dr. Allan Bender, Minnesota Department of Health, distributed the <br />Executive Summary of the "Feasibility of Community-Wide Epidemio- <br />logic Studies of Drinking Water and Health: St. Louis Park and <br />New Brighton" which was presented to the Minnesota legislature. <br /> <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Public Hearings <br /> <br />Minor Subdivision <br />Miller/Basic Indus- <br />tries <br />Report 86-29 <br />7:34-7:35pm <br /> <br />Ordinance Amendment <br />Zoning and Platting <br />Fees by Council <br />Resolution <br />Report 86-29A <br />7:35-7:38pm <br /> <br />Tri-City American <br />Legion Post #513 <br />Sunday Liquor Sales <br />Report 86-30 <br />7:39-7:41pm <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />MN Dept. of Health's <br />Executive Summary <br />(No report) <br />
