<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 24, 1986 <br /> <br />Council Business, continued <br /> <br />Brandt asked about the placement of adjacent houses and their <br />attachments as they relate to Beach Road and the addition; Locke <br />stated that, in general, they are quite close to the road and <br />further explained that the lot configurations are unusual because <br />the area had been designed for cottages/lake cabins. Locke then <br />confirmed that the new garage will be placed further back than <br />the existing garage. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Brandt, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING <br />VN-247. <br /> <br />5 Ayes -0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Proper had nothing to add to Finance Director Egan's (not <br />present) report on the issuance and sale of 1986 Improvement <br />Bonds. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Williams, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF <br />$650,000 WATER REVENUE BONDS OF 1986; and to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF <br />$2,125,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1986, <br />SERIES A. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />With regard to Egan's report on amending the 1985 Bond Reimburse- <br />ment Agreement, Locke indicated Jim O'Meara, bond counsel with <br />O'Connor & Hannan, stated these are minor amendments to the bond <br />document which have been requested for having bonds rated and <br />having our bond money flowing shortly. <br /> <br />Benke asked if there had been any further discussion regarding <br />the upgrading of our bond rating; Sinda stated he had a conversa- <br />tion with Jim Casserly, bond counsel with Miller & Schroeder <br />Municipals, Inc., who had been in contact with Moody's.
