<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 10, 1986 <br /> <br />Public Hearings, continued <br /> <br />Fiegel stated he has four trees he does not want removed; Leonard <br />stated there is 43 feet of right-of-way. <br /> <br />Brad Ostreich, 1290 Long Lake Road, asked how much property the <br />county owned between 694 and 14th; Leonard indicated the County's <br />right-of-way varies from 66 to 76 feet. <br /> <br />Ostreich asked why stop signs have been installed on Silver Lake <br />Road but not on Long Lake Road; Benke stated Long Lake Road is a <br />minor arterial street, only when they reach a certain level of <br />traffic is the city required to install stop signs. <br /> <br />Ostreich suggested the City look at 14th and Long Lake Road; Benke <br />stated that whole area is being redesigned. <br /> <br />Ostreich asked if there is a reason why 694 to 14th is three lanes <br />wide; Benke stated the three-lane design is based on the County's <br />traffic volume standards. <br /> <br />Joan Krueger, 1394 Kari Lane, stated since four houses were built <br />she has had a drainage problem in her back yard; and asked that <br />the three lanes be changed to two lanes; Leonard stated the curve <br />will be sharper and will have barrier curbs. <br /> <br />Benke stated drainage will be one of the design details in the <br />south portion and that the width of the road is still under dis- <br />cussion because of standards. <br /> <br />Bob Anderson, 1248 Long Lake Road, would like to see the County <br />take another count on that road, feels count is down since Silver <br />Lake Road has been repaired; Leonard stated he will take another <br />count on both 14th and Long Lake Road. <br /> <br />Benke stated a follow-up discussion could be held this summer if <br />necessary; otherwise we will have a plan review this fall. <br /> <br />Waldoch asked how they can back out onto Long Lake Road; Leonard <br />and Proper will look at Waldoch's concern. <br /> <br />Sinda had nothing to add to the staff report concerning Hardwood <br />Visuals request to reschedule a public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Brandt, to RESCHEDULE A PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR JULY 8, 1986, TO CONSIDER APPLICATION BY HARDWOOD <br />VISUALS, INC. FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOND FINANCING. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Brandt, to DESIGNATE BELAIR <br />BUILDERS, INC.
