<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />II. <br />_ 2. <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held <br />Tuesday, May 27, 1986, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Brandt, Gunderman, Schmidt, and Williams <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Henry Sinda, City Manager <br />Les Proper, City Engineer (arrived at 9:07 p.m.) <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Margaret Egan, Finance Director <br />Maurie Anderson, Park and Recreation Director <br />Brenda Krueger, Community Development Specialist <br />Bob Rutherford, Engineering Aid <br />Gary Berger, Administrative Assistant <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Schmidt, to APPROVE THE MINUTES <br />OF THE MAY 13, 1986, COUNCIL MEETING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with consent of council, received the April 15, 1986, <br />and the May 6, 1986, minutes of the Planning Commission; the May 5, <br />1986 minutes of the Human Rights Commission; and the May 14, 1986, <br />minutes of the Environmental Quality Commission. <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />Benke noted there were no applicants for neither the Citizen <br />Study Committee, Environmental Quality Commission, nor the Human <br />Rights Commission and directed staff to again have an article <br />published soliciting candidates. <br /> <br />A representative of Pike Lake School, on behalf of the School, <br />presented the Mayor with a tee shirt and thanked the Mayor for <br />making Pike Lake School Day on May 22, 1986, possible. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Gunderman, to APPROVE THE FOLLOWING <br />CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS: <br /> <br />CONSOLIDATED VOUCHERS: 78794-78972; 75571-75582 <br />CONSIDERATION OF FOOD WAREHOUSE LICENSE. <br /> <br />Counc il Mi n utes <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Special Order <br />of Business <br /> <br />Appointments - None <br /> <br />Presentation from <br />Pike Lake School <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Vouchers <br /> <br />Food Warehouse <br />License - Hansen <br />Bakery <br />Report 86-116 <br />
