<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 13, 1986 <br /> <br />Benke asked about interconnecting to the Maintenance Building and <br />to the Park and Recreation Department; Proper indicated they were <br />not included as off-site extensions become very expensive. <br /> <br />Williams asked if running a conduit to the fire station was part <br />of the city hall renovation; Proper indicated it was. <br /> <br />Gunderman asked if this sytem will be compatible with the <br />computer; Proper stated it is difficult to determine where we <br />will be going with regard to future technology; Sinda stated we <br />do have the Police Department connected with the State, stating <br />we do currently have a telephone modum. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Gunderman, to AUTHORIZE THE <br />PURCHASE OF THE AT&T 30/70 MERLIN TELEPHONE SYSTEM FOR CITY HALL <br />FOR $14,718.00. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Schmidt reviewed the status of cable television purchase and <br />moved, seconded by Williams, to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT A <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF GROUP W CABLE, <br />INC.; and to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION DENYING THE <br />REQUEST TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL OF GROUP W CABLE OF THE <br />NORTH SUBURBS, INC.
