Krueger
indicated the Planning Commission has recommended that the
final drainage plans be submitted at the time of approval; and
stated the applicant has no problems with the proposed reolution.
Krueger stated Howard Mills from the United Theological Seminary
is present to answer any questions.

With regard to Plats 9, 10, and 11, Krueger confirmed Williams's
statement that existing homes are present. Williams stated it was
not a desirable situation to have side yards abutting back yards;
stated Plats 14 and 15 were similar; and it appears that Lots 8
and 9 have a drainage area on them.

Krueger stated it is not always the most desirable situation to
have back yard abutting side yards, in this case the applicant
has tried to design the plats around the unusual situation of
existing single family homes.

Benke reviewed the Planning Commissions' discussion regarding
the ponding on Lots 8 and 9, stating the two lots had been
changed to be larger than other to accommodate the ponding area.

Benke also stated concerns about the drainage flow and berming
on the back sides of those lots and the point was made that that
would be the subject of review and approval of the Rice Creek
Watershed District and the City Engineer, and the Planning Commis
sion requested that issue be brought back to them for final
review before final approval is granted.

Page Ten

Corner lot setback -
Brighton Builders
Report 86-99

SP-132 - Silver Lake
Road Shopping
Center
Report 86-100
Resolution 86-38

Preliminary PL-147
and SP-133 - United
Theological Semin-
ary - Seminary
Estates
Report 86-101
Resolution 86-39
Resolution 86-40
