<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 22, 1986 <br /> <br />Benke asked Proper to stay in communication with Norell as plans <br />for the meetings develop. <br /> <br />Locke reviewed staff report requesting the council to exercise <br />the city's rights under the Agreement to begin discussion with <br />other developers about the property within that Tax Increment <br />District #6 for the ten acres southeast of Long Lake Road and <br />1-694. <br /> <br />Given the history of the project and staff reports, Schmidt <br />moved, seconded by Williams, to ADOPT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />NOTIFICATION OF WATER RIDGE ASSOCIATES OF THE CITY'S ACTIONS <br />UNDER SECTION 10.2C OF THE WATER RIDGE DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Locke reviewed staff report concerning a 90-day agreement with <br />Winfield Developments, Inc. for property within Tax Increment <br />District #6 for an office development on a 3-1/2 acre site. <br /> <br />Jim Winkels, Winfield Developments, Inc., stated he believes <br />the property being discussed has good opportunities for a high- <br />quality office project of approximately 50,000 square feet, <br />which may be built in one or more phases. Winfield is asking <br />for 45 days to make a very thorough and non-biased market study <br />and a second 45 days to negotiate a development agreement with <br />the city.
