<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br />November 13, 1984 <br /> <br />Steve Thompson, member of Citizens Study Committee, <br />reviewed the Committee's process in writing the pro- <br />cedures, indicating that they are meant to be guide- <br />lines, not binding policies. <br /> <br />After a brief discussion, motion by Harcus. seconded by <br />Benke, to DIRECT THE CITIZEN STUDY COMMITTEE TO REWORK <br />THE PROPOSED RESOLUTION INTO. PERHAPS, TWO RESOLUTIONS <br />(NAMING, RENAMING) CLARIFYING CURRENT AND FUTURE <br />SITUATIONS. <br /> <br />Janecek suggested the Committee look at using "generally" <br />or something similar in Section B of the proposed resolu- <br />tion and to, if possible, remove the "shalls." <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />As the Citizen Study Committee reported that no changes <br />need be made at this time, council elected not to take <br />any action on the report pending the Committee's action <br />on the Naming City Streets Procedures above. <br /> <br />Proper briefly reviewed the snowplowing policy. <br /> <br />Harcus suggested, and council concurred, to add an Item 8 <br />to the proposed policy regarding IIAlley Policy." <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek, to waive the <br />reading and ADOPT THE UPDATED WINTER STREET MAINTENANCE <br />PROCEDURES AND TO ORDER THEIR PUBU CATION IN THE "CITY <br />HALL" NEWSLETTER IN THE FALL OF 1984 ISSUE. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Harcus.
