<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br />December 11, 1984 <br /> <br />Krueger reviewed staff report concerning a request for <br />a variance to allow construction of an eight-foot fence <br />in a front yard for Roseville Diesel. <br /> <br />Harcus stated he had a problem with having things done <br />prior to getting clearance. Information needs to be <br />transmitted to the public advising them when permits <br />are required (ie., fences, decks, accessory buildings). <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Schmidt, to waive the read- <br />and and adopt a RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND <br />APPROVING VARIANCE VN-240. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Moti on Carri ed <br /> <br />Krueger had nothing to add to the staff report concerning <br />an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the land <br />use designation of a certain property in New Brighton from <br />Single Family Residential to Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br />Janecek asked if it would be appropriate to amend Plan <br />contingent upon final approval of the Water Ridge Project. <br /> <br />Schmidt stated that any rezoning would be contingent upon <br />the Development Agreement taking place. Asked council to <br />consider increasing density south of Tenth Street that is <br />part of the total plan for Water Ridge; believes it quite <br />appropriate to condition this approval upon the Water <br />Ridge development. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek, to waive the reading <br />and TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE NEW <br />BRIGHTO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF TENTH STREET NW BETWEEN <br />EIGHTH AVENUE NW AND ELEVENTH AVENUE NW, INCLUDING THE LAND <br />ON EITHER SIDE OF 9A AVENUE NW BETWEEN EIGHTH STREET NW AND <br />TENTH STREET NW FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO MEDIUM <br />RESIDENTIAL DENSITY SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />1. METROPOLITAN COUNCIL REVIEW AND COMMENT. <br />2.
