THE RECOMMENDATION TO AMEND THE MAC
GILLIS & GIBBS SUPERFUND PROJECT TO INCLUDE SAMPLING AND
TESTING OF THE GROUNDWATER BELOW THE CLAY LAYER.

I

Schmidt stated he would like to have staff, including legal
council, determine the status of the bankruptcy to the
extent there are, in fact, state monies and federal monies
that are going into the superfund project. If there is
going to be a claim submitted by them at some point in the
future, the City should track that claim; we might be in a
pas iti on ta acqu i re tha t property if it is env i ronmenta 11 y
and economically feasible.

5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried

Page Two

Vouchers

Fire Helmets
Report 85...17

Patrol Cars
Report 85-18

Portable Radios
Report 85-19

Tree Removal Specs
Report 85-20

Overhead Doors
Report 85-21

Council Business

MacGillis & Gibbs'
Superfund Project
Report 85-23
