<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br />February 26, 1985 <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Sinda had nothing to add to the staff report concerning the <br />certification of unpaid tree removal charges. <br /> <br />As there was no one to speak to the issue, Harcus moved, <br />seconded by Blomquist, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Schmidt, to HAlVE THE READING <br />AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING UNPAID TREE REMOVAL CHARGES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Winkels had nothing to add to the staff report concerning an <br />option agreement between S-H Realty and the City of New Brighton. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus. seconded by Blomquist, to AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR <br />AND MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN OPTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN S-H REALTY <br />AND THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Winkels had nothing to add to the staff report regarding a <br />purchase agreement between Daniel J. Bona and the City of New <br />Bri g hton. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke, to AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR <br />AND MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN DANIEL J. <br />BONA AND THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Sinda had nothing to add to the staff report concerning the <br />survey of municipal service costs. <br /> <br />Harcus commented it was an interesting comparison; feels the <br />City of New Brighton is doing a good jOb of keeping the costs <br />down; feels the comparison reflects staff being frugal and the <br />council being conservative. <br /> <br />Benke asked what our cost per capita would be without the water <br />well improvements.
