Consideration of request for food license. <br /> <br />3 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Public I~orovement Hearing <br /> <br />Proper reviewed the Silver Lake Road bridqe-widening Project <br />85-4 for special assessment purposes using slides, noting that <br />the majority (85%) would be paid for by Federal funds; local <br />share costs is estimated at $25,286 ($16,402 for sidewalks and <br />$8,984 for new curbing and surfacing). Proper indicated which <br />properties would be assessed, noting the assessment would be <br />approximately $6.45 per linear foot. Proper explained the <br />payment arrangements for the assessments; assessments will be <br />finalized in October 1985 at which time an assessment hearing <br />will be held. <br /> <br />Dale Cross, 725 Silver Lake Road, stated about ten years ago <br />he was charged for a storm sewer and didn't believe he should <br />have to pay for same service again. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Proper indicated the cost for the storm sewer would be minimal; <br />95% of cost would be for curbing. <br /> <br />Cross inquired why Silver Lake Road was being widened; Harcus <br />explained that the city's goal is to maintain a Level C of <br />traffic and that, over the past years, the city had been <br />petiti oned to have s i dewa 1 ks ins ta 11 ed. <br /> <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Change to the <br />1985 Computer <br />Dept.
