<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council <br />was held Tuesday, May 22, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 <br />Fifth Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Gregory Harcus, Councilmembers Bob Benke, Roger Blomquist, <br />Jeanette Janecek, Steve Schmidt <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: Henry Sinda, City Manager <br />James Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br />Brenda Krueger, Planner <br />Margaret Eqan, Finance Director <br />Charles LeFevere, City Attorney <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus added Receipt of Donations to the Special Order of Business of <br />tonight's meeting. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the minutes of May 8, 1984. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek, to approve the <br />Consent Agenda items as follows: <br /> <br />1. Consolidated Fund Vouchers (071677-071731 and <br />066002-066143) <br /> <br />2. Consideration of Agreement with Mark Kozlak <br /> <br />3. Consideration of Rubbish Hauling License, <br />D&S Hauling, 3090 North Cleveland, Roseville, <br />MN (Steve Peterson) <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />Mr. Chuck Wiger, 2630 East Burke Avenue, St. Paul, <br />our representative from the Metropolitan Council, <br />stated he was impressed with the city's Team Build- <br />ing/Goal Setting workshop; Metropolitan Council can <br />help with our Star City program; and Long Lake <br />Regional Park system is in the second phase and it's <br />going well. <br /> <br />Agreement with Mark Kozlak <br />Report 84-124 <br /> <br />Rubbish Hauling License <br />D&S Hauling <br /> <br />Metropolitan Council <br />Presentation <br />
