<br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />October 25, 1983 <br />Page Six <br /> <br />The Finance Director reviewed the resolution <br />providing for the adoption of the 1984 Liquor <br />Operation Budget. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek to waive <br />the reading and adopt the RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />THE ADOPTION OF THE 1984 BUDGET FOR LIQUOR. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The City Engineer reviewed the staff report <br />regarding the City Golf Course parking lot <br />bids, project #83-14. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Janecek to award <br />the bid for the Brightwood Hills Golf Course <br />parking lot improvement, project #83-14 to Munn <br />Blacktop, Inc., in the amount of $35,446.50 <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Finance Director reviewed the staff report <br />regarding change in salaries for the mayor and <br />councilmembers. <br /> <br />Councilmember Benke stated that if the Council <br />was going to be reimbursed for expenses in <br />addition to authorizing an increase in salaries, <br />they would in effect be giving themselves two <br />raises.
