<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br />December 27.1983 <br /> <br />Page Six <br /> <br />Community Development Director reviewed the staff report <br />regarding the proposal for Joint Development Agreement. <br />Cimarron Building Associates, Ltd. for 1-695 and Long <br />Lake Road. <br /> <br />Cimarron Building <br />Associates <br />Report #83-340 <br /> <br />Charles Risdall and Jerry Svee of Cimarron Building <br />Associates presented their proposal to build office space, <br />restaurants, townhouses and apartments on the site. <br /> <br />Schmidt stated the percentage of interest is encouraging. <br />He further stated that because this project is not a part <br />of downtown development, it should be decided whether the <br />Downtown Advisory Board would have a part in the planning. <br />He thinks we should use the Board and that the staff <br />should consider this. <br /> <br />Community Development Director stated that this develop- <br />ment would have an impact on downtown and it would be <br />natural to have the Downtown Advisory Board active in <br />this project. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek. to send the Down- <br />town Advisory Board an invitation to public information <br />meetings relative to this Cimarron project. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek to direct staff <br />to negotiate a development agreement with Cimarron <br />Building Associates for the purpose of determining this <br />project's feasibility and to request the developer and <br />staff to begin the pUblic information process in regard <br />to the proposal. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Department reviewed the staff <br />report regarding the Quotes on Snow Equipment for new <br />city dump truck. <br /> <br />Dump Truck Quotes <br />Report #83-330 <br /> <br />Ted Wolkerstorfer, Public Works Superintendent, was <br />present to discuss the snow plowing policy and procedures. <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Benke to approve the <br />purchase of snow equipment from MacOueen Equipment <br />Company in the amount of $15,759.00. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br />
