Benke asked if, in Section II(a)2,the first word 1I01dll shouldn't be II All II. City Planner indicated that the correct word should be All. Zoning Code Amend- ments, Manufactured Housing Report #84-7 Motion by Harcus, seconded by Schmidt to waive the reading and hold the first reading on an ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-465, SECTION 4-010, AND SECTION 4-460 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON ZONING CODE pertaining to manufactured housing as previously amended. 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried City Planner reviewed the staff report regarding"code amendments concerning Public Notification Requirements and noted the following changes to be made to the pro- posed ordinance: Section IIb IIwithin 600 feetll should be added after the word IIpropertyll in the sixth line, and lIafterll should be changed to II before II in the ninth line; Section VI should read 1126-7" rather than 1136-7.11 Code Amendments Public Notification Requirements Report #84-8 Motion by Bvomquist, seconded by Janecek to waive the reading and hold the first reading on an ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-030, SECTION 7-080, SECTION 8-320, SECTION 8-330, SECTION 8-620, SECTION 26-7 AND SECTION 26-24 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE pertaining to public notification requirements. Benke stated the proposed changes go a long way towards addressing some concerns that generated the need to look at the Notification Requirements, but expressed concerns that the requirements of 350 feet and 600 feet may not address some unique circumstances. Can look to staff to look beyond the 600 feet in all cases that are necessary to include people beyond the 600 feet. Schmidt mentioned that the terms of the rezonings will be taken care of by postings. Director of Community Development mentioned that there is still public notification in the paper, as is the agenda for Council Meetings. In some instances, we have sent notices to property-owners and Home Owners Associa- tion beyond the notification requirement, because we fee 1 it I S important to get the word out.
