<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br />January 10, 1984 <br /> <br />Page Eight <br /> <br />Janecek stated she could support 1I0ne employee. <br /> <br />City Planner emphasized that each standard in the ordin- <br />ance is related to another. <br /> <br />Benke s ta ted he wou 1 d be wi 11 i ng to support the II one II <br />employee if the understanding is that the amended ordin- <br />ance is referred back to the Planning Commission before <br />passing. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to waive the read- <br />ing and hold the first reading of an ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 2-350 AND SECTION 5-660 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />ZONING CODE pertaining to home occupants with the <br />following change under Section II, Item (b) to read: <br /> <br />Permitted home occupations shall not include <br />the employment of more than one unrelated <br />person; <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 1 Nay (Schmidt), Motion Carried <br /> <br />City Attorney commented that a beauty shop has perform- <br />ance standards and that it would be hard to show that <br />it generates more traffic than a residental neighborhood <br />normally has.
