He questioned <br />what basis would be used to determine the assessed <br />evaluation. <br /> <br />The City Engineer responded that a feasibility study <br />could encompass the assessing issue, and establishment <br />of a homeowners group to cover on-going costs. <br /> <br />Mayor Barcus complimented the citizens on the excellent <br />example of vOlunteerism--helping yourself and would <br />encourage it further. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to receive <br />the petition and order an engineering study on <br />ways to remove bottom sediment and bogs from Lake <br />Diane including the assessment of City liability. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The status of important proposed legislation was <br />discussed by the staff and council. Arbor Day Proclam. <br /> <br />for d' , Report #83-102 <br />The Arbor Day Proclamation was re-opened 1SCUSS10n. <br /> <br />Councilmember Benke made reference to the Tree City <br />U.S.A.
