<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />April 26, 1983 <br /> <br />The Director of Community Development reviewed <br />the staff report regarding the development <br />agreement amendment, and tax increment bond <br />for the New Brighton Medical Center. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Blomquist to: <br /> <br />L Authorize the mayor and manager to execute <br />an addendum and amendment to contract for <br />private development by and between City of <br />New Brighton, Minnesota and S.R. Building <br />Company. <br /> <br />2. Waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND AWARDING THE SALE <br />OF $65,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION TAX INCREMENT <br />BOND OF 1983; FIXING THE FORM AND SPECIFI- <br />CATIONS THEREOF; AND PROVIDING FOR ITS PAY- <br />MENT <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - Motion carried <br />The City Manager reviewed the staff report <br />concerning the bids received for the proposed <br />heating, ventilating and air conditioning sys- <br />tem for the downtown liquor operation. <br /> <br />The Director of Liquor was present to answer <br />questions, as well as the Administrative <br />Assistant. <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Harcus to award <br />a contract for new heating, ventilation and <br />air conditioning system to All Seasons Comfort <br />for the amount of $10,036.00. <br /> <br />5 Ayes ,'-0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Director of Parks and Recreation reviewed <br />the staff report regarding approval of <br />expenditures for City Hall Newsletter and Gift <br />Book. <br /> <br />Councilmember Benke stated he liked the idea <br />of a gift book but hates to see the City spend <br />$2,500 on it. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Schmidt to <br />authorize staff to issue a purchase order in the <br />amount of $3,337.00 to Advanced Printing, Inc. for <br />printing of the City Hall Newsletter and Gift Guide <br />and fund up to $850.00 additional from the 1983 CIP <br />Community Involvement Prog!am, but to defer approval <br />of newsletter content until the May 3rd work session. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 1 Nay - (Benke) - motion carried <br /> <br />Page Seven <br /> <br />Development Agree- <br />ment Amendment <br />Tax Increment Bond <br />New Brighton Med. <br />Cntr.
